Our Work in Africa

Since its founding, Agape Pamoja International has partnered with local communities and ministries to bring restoration, dignity, and opportunity to refugees and the vulnerable. Together, we have:

· Partnered with Agua Viva International to develop five high-capacity water systems providing clean, purified water.

· Supported care for abused women, orphans, and local schools.

· Assisted widows with microbusiness opportunities.

· Helped with transportation, housing, and relocation outside of camps.

· Provided microbusiness training.

· Supported children’s ministry programs.

In 2024, API purchased its first property in Kigoma, Tanzania. This land is already home to a preschool and five houses with potential to shelter up to seven refugee families. With abundant fruit trees (grapefruit, avocado, lime, mango, banana) and a thriving garden of African vegetables, the property provides both nourishment and opportunity. Future development plans includes a chicken coop microbusiness, designed to empower families as they transition out of camp life into sustainable, hope-filled communities.
